Gotsport is registration program used by NYSA, Frontier Country Soccer Association, Oklahoma Soccer Association, and the majority of soccer clubs/associations in the United States. It allows clubs to register players, create rosters and player cards, schedule games, create tournaments. The online program allows clubs, associations, and states to share information on players participating in leagues and tournaments.
Each NYSA player in our club has a profile in www.gotsoccer.com and has a username and password to access it. It is each parent/player's responsibility to keep the information on this profile up to date in order to register for programs, receive club emails, and make payments to NYSA. Please do not send your information updates to the office, we cannot update profiles for you. You can then use this username and password to register your player/profile in a program: such as Spring Recreational Soccer, Fall Recreational Soccer, Academy Program, or the Competitive Program. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN EMAIL ACCOUNT, you can register at our office and we will use a "dummy email account" on your profile, however, you will not receive announcements and cannot access the account. IF at any time you create an email account, you may contact the office to update the correct email so you may begin using your account online.
REGISTERING FOR A PROGRAM: In order to register for a program, you will go to the tab you wish to enroll in on our website (Recreational, Academy, Competitive) and follow the link to gotsport. You will need your username and password to enter the program, this will bring up your profile, update any information, provide information required for the program, and pay the appropriate fees. The final page (page 4) will say your registration is successful and give you a registration number for that program. YOU CANNOT REGISTER FOR A PROGRAM BY GOING DIRECTLY TO WWW.GOTSPORT.COM AND LOOKING THROUGH YOUR PROFILE. ALL NYSA PROGRAMS MUST BE REGISTERED THROUGH OUR WEBSITE UNDER THE DIVISION THEY ARE IN.
If you forget or misplace your username and password, you may call our office (573-0070) and we provide it to you or request gotsport to send it to you. If you change or wish to delete an email address, you may go into your player's account and update it in order to control where your information/announcements are delivered.
FAMILY ACCOUNTS: DO NOT use the family account to register your players-user their individual usernames and passwords. The family account is to manage their information with gotsport, but it can merge players within a program when registering and create many problems.
