Recreational Reschedules

NYSA Reschedule Policy

for Recreational Teams (ages 5-12)

 

All reschedules for this age group will be handled by our scheduler Justin Jack-his contact info. is: justinjack@ymail.com

If a weekend game must be cancelled the deadline is 6 pm on the Wednesday before the weekend.  If the deadline is missed, referees will be paid and the team will be required to pay the referee fees through the office before the game is given a make up date. Weather will not be an excuse to cancel a game unless the complex is closed.

Reschedule Procedure

1. Contact the opposing coach-use contact list on the website under the rec tab/coach dropdown. If the opposing coach agrees, you need to email Justin Jack at justinjack@ymail.com that you both wish to reschedule, the emails of both coaches (he needs this to communicate reschedule date), and he will email both coaches the new date and update the schedule online once it is complete. PLEASE respond to coach calls as quickly as possible since it may the upcoming weekend and it affects both teams-coaches and players.

No Show Procedures

1. If one team does not show, it will be reported by the referees to the office. An email will be sent to the no show team, they have the option of paying the referees fees to the office and the game will be reschedule. If they chose not to pay, the game will be recorded as a forfeit by the no show team.

2. If both teams do not show, it will again be reported by the referees to the office. An email will be sent to both teams, it will be up to the two coaches to decide to pay and the game be rescheduled or it will be recorded as a forfeit by both teams.

The office does not reschedule games so please use the above policy. If you need to update the phone number listed on the website for coach contact, please email Leah at administrator@normansoccer.org and the number you wish to be contact at will be updated for you.
