Players must purchase a ball, jersey, shin guards, and soccer shoes

| Jersey | U5-U12 wear reversible green/white top from Soccer Shop and More (next door to NYSA) and team chooses short and sock colors. U14-U19 wear black, white, or NYSA green Nike jersey with NYSA logo and graphics also available at Soccer Shop and More. . |

| Shin Guards | Available at Soccer Shop and More, or sports stores. Players must wear these at all games and practices. |

| Soccer Shoes | Soccer cleats are not required, but they are recommended for safety to prevent slipping on the grass. Cleats are available at sports stores (or department stores during certain times of the year). Shoes with a toe cleat are not allowed (football and baseball style). |
